him in his room at the hotel.
5:00P.M.: Meet in The Blue Iguana Lounge. Approved dress code; black
reunion T shirt, and the rest are up to you and yours.

for council early Wednesday morning!
Wednesday April 27, 2005: Also previously referred to as early Wednesday
morning.
7:45A.M.: All ad hoc officers will please assist national members in setting up the council area.
8:00A.M: Ad hoc, or national officers involved in the activation ceremony, meet with Ritual Officer Brother Eric Marshall
and
review your duties as required for the ceremony. Officers included are as follows: President, Vice President, Sergeant at
Arms, Treasurer, Chaplain
8:30 A.M.: All Brothers will meet with Eric to review council procedures.
8:56 A.M.: The two lowly pledges, very soon to be exalted brothers, will meet with/will present themselves to Pledge
Master Dan Ernst at a location to be determined by Brother Ernst, prepared for their activation.
9:00 A.M.:
Council Ceremony will begin at a location to be announced to all on Tuesday the 26th.
11:00A.M. to 3:00P.M.:
Lunch meeting and meal in the Steak House. Lunch will be served at noon.
There will be no head table; we
would suggest that you dine with others from a different time frame than yours. Our primary objective is that we leave Vegas
as a united group, where new and lasting friendship with brothers from a different time periods have been established.
During this four hour period, in addition to enjoying the succulent 16oz. New York Strips or the soon to be famous
road kill chicken, (which has been aged in the warm Nevada sun), there will be an opportunity for each table to contribute
comments, and or fond past recollections, to the assembled mass.
3:00P.M.: And there after, go and attack
the poor citizens and businesses of the greater Las Vegas area. We are pleased to have two attorneys among the attending brotherhood,
and each of you may want to work out their own retainer arrangement with these fine members of the legal profession.
Please
find attached a list of members attending and meal sekections. The shirts are in, and are being shipped to Vegas. We have
no extra shirts, if there is a size problem, we'll keep notes and try to swap out with another who has the reverse problem.
Cam
Brotherhood
of Iota Phi and the usual two lowly postulants 2-22-05 First of all this is subject to
change, hopefully we will be able to give you notice. Which means if anyone gets to crazy, we'll change the schedule and not
tell them-just kidding. I hope to be able to advise you of a room number where your shirts can be picked up on Tuesday
around three, this is contingent on the hotel giving me my room number early. My back up plan is to start a small fire in
the lobby and revert to smoke signals. Tuesday at 5:00PM, we'll take over the Blue Iguana saloon, which is in the
hotel, providing that the fire department has reopened the hotel after the smoke signals have cleared. Next to the Blue Iguana,
is a Hispanic restaurant, how's that for being politically correct? Because of the adjustment to time zones, feel free to
eat when the spirit moves you, the saloon will be well guarded until you return! The hotel plans to bring in extra help from
the Henderson County jail for this occasion. This concept of course may offer some members an employment opportunity the following
evening. Wednesday at 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM we will have council and the activation of the two postulants, providing
they pass their written tests. I'm scheduling two hours for this, just to give the postulants enough time to pass their oral
tests. I feel obligated to remind the brotherhood that there is a point in the ceremony where you will have one final opportunity
to object to and prevent the activation of a postulant. Our luncheon is at !2:00, in The Steak House Restaurant, which
is in the hotel. We have this room until 3:00PM There will be no head table! Can't stand that stuff! There will be six ex-presidents
in attendance, I have asked each to make a brief comment on their time in office. After this we'll provide a speaker or speaker
picked by each table for comments. After 3:00 feel free to lose your money and or attack Vegas in any method you prefer.
Due to travel schedules and potential hang overs, nothing is scheduled for Thursday. I do intend to bring up some
topics in council that can be activated on by the brotherhood in the following months. Once again I must thank every
one for their support and assistance, that has made this possible, yall have been awesome and it is you that is making this
happen! Cam
1-10-05 Brothers and Two Lowly Pledges!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As of this date, and this time on this date,39 brothers and two lowly pledges have joined the "I'll be there list". There
are about three or four others still on the fence, trying to work out job conflicts, plus a uncertain number from National
and other chapters that will be attending. It pleases that this exceed the criteria of six, I established for going forward
for the brass ring last May to hold the reunion. We are still trying to find members! A couple of notes: Our
reservation# at Circus Circus is BO4-AXP, room rate of $49.95, double occupancy plus tax. These are tower rooms in the
main hotel, ask for the tower nearest the check in when making your reservations. In all tower rooms, shackles are standard.
Send your checks to Chip Drant, made out to the Alpha Chi Rho reunion fund. Chip's address can be found in our members list
on our web site www.alphachirhoparsons.org After the shirts are order, and we can determine our balance, we will advise you
of the amount needed for the luncheon. We have moved up the time of our council meeting, and activation ceremony to:
9:00A.M. on Wednesday the 27th. If you have forgotten the pass words, feel free to call myself or John Almack for assistance,
a $1.00 charge will be added to your account for this service. Since we now have a real private room and all the ritual
materials, thanks to National and not holding the ceremony in the men's room, shirts and ties, per our by laws will be the
order of the day. I would also suggest coats and ties for the luncheon, as photo's will be taken. For those coming
by themselves, You are entitled to 3 shirts, two golf shirts plus the soon to be famous "T" shirt. Please let me know if
you'll want sizes other than the one you have given me. Also for those attending alone we have worked a special arrangement
with one of the finest escort services in Vegas. Opal Flynn's "AARP's Hunk of Chunks of Burring Love" has offered a unique
dual pricing program based on those Chunks with and without original dental equipment. Requirements for this program can be
complied with by either party. Opals top chunk, the lovely and talented Julia Stansburry will be available during our visit,
CL is not scheduled, but we are still working on this, especially with the needs of Brother Hodder in mind. "Things go better
with Coke" For those in attendance that have never been to Parsons, Brother Jordan Elsworth has put together a short
slide program of the campus and buildings, good thinking Jordie! Again I have to say how awesome yall (yes it's still
one word in Texas) have been, what a pleasure it has been for me to these past months, that have gone by so quickly. One
final note, I have confirmed that the production crew from the TV show Cops will be on location during our visit to Vegas!
Remember to smile! Fraternally; Cam
Yo Crows!
1-4-05 Today I had the very special pleasure to speak with Mr. Scott Carlson, National Secretary of Alpha Chi Rho. What
had been previous rumored, can now be confirmed. National is going to provide the following for the activation ceremony of
lowly pledges Skip Sineni and Frank Challant: A special room for the purpose of this very special ceremony. I hope
that you all remember that special moment, when a final vote of approval is taken. The complete assortment of Ritual
equipment, the whole nine yards. Please feel free to contact me if your not sure of all that this entails Attendance
by personal from the national office, including Scott if his schedule permits. They are, as I have been, very moved
by men, who come back for their friends, to join them after four decades.. I personally thanked National Secretary
Carlson for this significant support and effort from National, that will add so much to our reunion, on behalf of all the
members of Iota Phi I am very proud to be associated with such men., who I call my Brothers. I'm especially looking
forward to adding two more men to join this very special family of ours. Cam
Greeting Crows of Parsons!
12-20-04 A couple of things that I want to bring to your attention this week of Christmas. Over this past weekend<
I received a call from Bob Hagglund, past president of Iota Phi(61-62) Bob is using the same title as some of us others, "permanently
disabled". He has recently gone through some medical problems, but hopefully is on the upswing. Bob and his wife live in the
Blooming ton Il. and I'm sure would enjoy from those that know him, and those that don't know him personally. I would share
with all, the great pleasure that I've had speaking with each of you over the last five months, as well speaking with those
that I have never met, and learning that there is a common bond that we all share. It has always been especially rewarding
to reach out to another during times of need. Bob's phone number is 309-275-6814. With this thought in mind, I gladly
acknowledge the activity of many of the brotherhood who have seized this time and opportunity to reach out and call others
that they haven't spoken to over the last three decades. One group in particular, seems to be those who were pledges in 65
and 66. This cast of characters has been so active, that we'll probably have to set aside some funds for bail money for our
time in Vegas. The thought that I would like offer, is how much better our reunion could be if each of took some time
this week, and let your finger do the walking, extending a holiday greeting to old friends and classmates. It would be even
better, if yall would call a fellow brother that you don't know, and introduce your selves. I've been doing this for the last
five months and its about as much fun that you can have legally with your cloths on! Almost finally, I would ask that
each call in your reservations to Circus Circus@877-2247287, use our exclusive reservation code of BO4AXP, there is no penalty
or obligation if you cancel, a month in advance. Next to finally, January !0 is getting even closer, please send your
$120, clothing sizes, and choice of meals by that date. The money should be mailed to Chip Drant, at his home in SC. Checks
can be made out to the AXP reunion fund. Email me your clothing sizes and food preferences, and I'll try not to screw things
up. Finally!!!! I simply can not express in words what a pleasure it has been for me to be able to speak with
each of you over the last couple of months. I wish each of you and your families the best Holiday season ever, and add what
a group of awesome individuals yall are! Got to use Yall twice, good letter! We working with National, and we hope to have
some good news to share in the near future when the details are final. Cam
Brother Crows, In a recent
phone call with one of the brothers, I was asked how soon we needed the money sent in for the reunion. That was a great questioned
that should have been addressed sooner, so I feel that I should seize the opportunity to address it now. The short answer
is "as soon as possible" either in part or in whole, forty dollars a month, Nov.- Dec.-Jan, would work well for meeting our
needs The way the dominos line up are as follows: 1} We need to get a good fix on the number attending, as I
mentioned last week the capacity of The Steak House is about 100. From the information previously received, we are getting
pretty close to that figure, depending on singles or couples attending. 2} After determining the number attending,
we need to order and pay for the reunion shirts, that we have asked previously that you supply size information as soon as
possible. 3} Once all the shirts are ordered and paid for, we will know what kind of balance we have left to
apply to the cost of the meals at the steak house. We have already paid a $300 deposit to the steak house, and our order
for the meals has to be submitted and paid in full, one full month prior to the reunion. While the reunion is about six
months out, we would like to be able to start the buying process in early January, and then give you some lead time To get
your lunch money in, so that we can perform within the terms of the contract that we have entered into with Circus Circus.
Please take a few minutes, and supply us with the information that we requested last week. You can find that request information
on the web site www.alphachirho.org Again please forward the information to me and copy Chip Drant. I take allot of drugs,
and I need to watched carefully. If you are not coming, please reaffirm this to us as well! Cam
Greetings Crows,

Time seems to just keep moving on , and before you know it we find ourselves approaching the holidays. With
that in mind I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you what is needed and when it is needed, before our minds become
boggled with turkey, football, shopping for the grand kids, and of course those necessary holiday parties and the pain they
inflect the following morning.
We have set a time for all information and money for those attending to be submitted.
That date is 1/10/05 What we need is for all to be paid up with the $120.00 that we have requested to pull this thing
together, as well as the cost of reunion wearables. When all of this has been covered, we'll come back and ask for one more
payment to cover the cost of the reunion luncheon. We will apply excess funds from the $120 to the cost of the luncheon,
and then ask you for the balance needed.
Please email me, and copy Chip Drant the follow following information:.

Fellow Crows
9-28-04 I thought I would take this opportunity to update all on reunion participation and progress. As of this
date we have 35 members who have indicated that they are planning to attend our reunion in Las Vegas. We have received funds
towards the cost of the reunion from 18 members as of 9-27. We are continuing our efforts to locate other members on a daily
basis. We are working off a list from the national office which is extremely lacking in correct address information, in many
cases the information listed is the members home address from the time he attended Parsons. We are now in the process of submitting
ten names a week to Us Search, a internet search organization. We have received a great deal of assistance from many of the
members who have given us information on the locations of others, which has been greatly appreciated. We still have over 100
members who we are trying to locate, and hopefully US Search will solve the problem of locating others. When we started
this process we asked that those attending contribute $120 to cover the costs of putting the reunion together, as well
as his and her wearables to be distributed at the reunion. Actually there is a third wearable, intended for the members, but
we're guessing that the wives will lay claim to this particular garment, you'll under stand this theory better when you see
the item in question. What we would ask from those that are planning to attend, but have yet to send in a contribution,
that they take the time now to send a check, either partial or in total to Chip Drant at his home in South Carolina. Any
funds not used for the purpose of putting the reunion together, will be applied towards the cost of the reunion luncheon.
I would like to thank you all for your support and enthusiasm, in making this happen. It is clear that out time in the
fraternity was something special to us all. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me directly,
and keep in mind that there are no bad questions. On our web site. on the members list, those that have indicated
that they are planning to attend, have a capitol -A after their names. If I've made any mistakes or missed anyone please let
me know. Cam
Greeting Crows, 9/15/04 It pleases me to announce,
that you can start to make your room reservations a Circus Circus using our group code BO4-AXP. When you call in try and request
a room in the West Tower, which is the area closest to the check in area.Special note their check in time is 3:00PM. I'm attaching
a copy of the three page group contract, so that none of their terms and conditions will come as a surprise to you. these
are typically the same terms and conditions that apply to all quests, but please take the time to review, so that no one not
familiar with Vegas is caught by surprise. What happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. This is partially true of your money! I
will also post this to the web site, under member news for future reference. Cam
Greetings Crows
9-10-04
I like to take this opportunity to announce that Alpha Chi Rho Chapter Iota Phi, will be adding two
new brothers during the reunion in Las Vegas. I know that all will join with me in welcoming Pledges, Louis "Skip Sineni and
Frank Challant, who will both be activated into the fraternity, while in Vegas. Please join me in congratulating them both
for enduring the longest pledge period ever, and for being too old as we all are to go through hell week, and welcoming to
our brotherhood.
I also want to especially thank and recognize Ron Engelsen for his part in communicating
successfully with the director at the offices of the National Fraternity of Alpha Chi Rho so this could happen
8-19-04
In last weeks memo, I mentioned that we had started the process of contacting hotels in Vegas, trying to find not only
a good deal, but a good central location with decent accommodations. We've received a quote, good for thirty days, from "Circus
Circus" which is located on the strip, and famous for it's in house steak house. They have quoted us $49.95 per night
plus taxes and the typical added room charges, that Vegas hotels typically add on. The price of the room total should be just
under $60 a night, for their tower rooms, which are suppose to be of a higher quality, than the elephants room. We've
got until Sept. 8th to respond to this quote. The quote that we asked for was based on thirty rooms, single or double occupancy
What I need to hear back from each of you, is a probability of your attendance. This is not asking you for a firm commitment,
but we do need to get a general feeling from each of you as to your intentions. To make it easy and some what consistent,
I've developed the following highly scientific categories to choose from. Some may remember this concept as multiple choice,
or mutable guess, which is probably more applicable for this application. Please choose and respond to one of the following:
A- I am coming 90% to 100% B- I plan to attend 75% to 89% C- I plan on attending
if my schedule permits 50% to 74% D- I want to attend, but I just don't know at this time 25% to 49%
E- I probably won't attend, but thing could change 1% to 24% F- I ain't coming! 0% Please
note this will not be graded on a curve! Good news, Bad news section: We've started to receive contributions for the
reunion fund, which has been set up under the strictest of controls by Chip Drant. We have received some very generous contributions
from the field, and we are off to a great start as far as income. On the down side, this great start has been generated by
only six people as of last Monday. We hope to provide reunion gifts to all, other than a swizzle stick! Please take
the time to kick off the $10 a month that we have requested, as soon as you can. This also gives us a pretty good idea
of attendance. We have identified a search service, and will begin finding as many others as possible, in the
next month that the service is available to us. Cam
I thought it would be a pretty good idea to up date
all on our progress and direction and needs. Ours members list is now up to thirty seven, total fraternity membership from
start to finish is approx. 155. So we still have some work ahead of us in locating as many members as possible. As funds
become available, we will pay for the use of an online search service, as previously mentioned. Enthusiasm remains high with
those that Ive spoken with, and we have identified the actual dates, as April 26, Tuesday to the 28th Thursday, with
departure midday of the 28th.
We are contacting hotels in the Vegas area to ascertain best value and package on group
rates. Our objective is to find decent accommodations on the strip with a per night price of sixty to seventy dollars with
taxes and other charges included.
We have started receiving some contributions which are greatly appreciated. Again
what we have asked for is a minimum of $10 a month be sent to Chip [money bags ] Drant at his home address. Chip
is opening an AXP reunion account. All funds received will be applied to the reunion. If you havent had the chance to
kick off that first check for the following reasons: a] we need the money b] and secondly it should give us a pretty
good idea of attendance numbers, which gives us the information we also need to book rooms.
Again if anyone has information
on any members that have yet to located, please forward that information on to me.
We welcome any ideas or thoughts
that you may have. Thanks to Frank Challant on his suggestion and follow though on submitting bios. In the course of speaking
to all I am amazed at the openness and candor of the conversations. Things have been shared openly with me that make me proud
to be associated with yall {in
